WELCOME TO PRE-IAS TRAINING CENTRE, NASHIK
To inspire more number of candidates from the State to enter Indian Administrative and other allied Services, in addition to the four already existing Pre-IAS Training Centres at Mumbai, Aurangabad, Kolhapur and Nagpur, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra has started two more Pre-IAS Training Centres one at Nashik and other at Amravati in the month of June, 2013.
The objectives of Pre-IAS Training Centre, Nashik are:
- To create awareness among the youth of Maharashtra particularly from the rural areas, the backward and deprived sections of the society about aims and objectives, procedures and relative advantages of various competitive examinations particularly Civil Services Examinations;
- To plan and conduct coaching and training programmes for admitted candidates for successful participation in competitive examinations by inviting eminent administrators, academicians and professional experts from management, training and other institutions;
- Attracting the best of the youth of the State and transforming them into officers;
- To inculcate in them the culture of serving the community and the Nation with a sense of keen observation.
